The Skinny

The expected lowest-scoring game on Sunday's slate, Seattle at least enters as a minor favorite in the tilt. They certainly plan to slow down the fast-paced Liberty given their slate-low 93.63 possessions per 40 minutes. The Liberty sport the worst defensive rating on the slate and allow the opposition tops in many categories, including assists, (19.9), three-throws allowed (20.8) opposing points (84) and points off turnovers (19). Opponents also knock down the second-most threes (7.2 per game), which fits right into the wheelhouse of deep threats like Sami Whitcomb (6.3 attempts per game), Jewell Loyd (4.0 attempts per game) and Alysha Clark (3.6 attempts per game). Loyd, Natasha Howard and Jordin Canada are best-equipped to take advantage of the Liberty's tendency to hack, though it's been Mercedes Russell who has made it to the charity stripe most frequently (4.5 per game) in the previous two matchups between the teams. Howard hasn't ad particularly standout games in the contests, with Canada posting the best overall combined efforts.

Seattle is much more stout defensively than New York, with the Storm's slow pace combining with a middle-of-the-pack defensive rating to create a slate-low 74.2 points per game allowed. The Storm still allow the most fast-break points (10.1) of any of the eight teams playing Sunday, which may be an area the Liberty can take advantage. The Storm have been prone to turn the ball over (19.6 percent turnover rate), with the opposing 8.4 steals checking in third-highest despite the slowed pace. Kia Nurse, in particular, has taken advantage of the Storm's slate-high 36.1 percent opposing rate from deep, knocking down half of her 14 attempts in the two games. She's averaged a team-high 21.5 points in the contests, while Tanisha Wright has also posted two of her better performances of the year.

The Skinny

Minnesota enters Sunday as the heaviest underdog by a three-point margin, suggesting this contest has the biggest chance of becoming a one-sided affair. Washington sports the most efficient offense in the league by a wide margin, but that doesn't mean they aren't still vulnerable on the defensive end of the floor. In particular, they don't hold the defensive glass that well and allot a slate-high 12.9 second-chance points and the second-most points in the paint (33.5). Sylvia Fowles was certainly able to take advantage of that in the previous matchup, tallying 18 points, 12 boards, three assists, two blocks and a steal to net her fourth-highest fantasy output of the season. Lexie Brown added 19 points in what was her best fantasy output of the year, while Seimone Augustus wasn't available and will be playing in her third contest of the season Sunday.

Kristi Toliver is the biggest question mark on the slate. She's dealing with a knee injury heading into the contest, but would presumably not want to miss a rematch with the team she dropped a season-high 32 points on and her best fantasy scoring game on a month ago. If she's held out, Shatori Walker-Kimbrough could be in line to see additional minutes Sunday. Elena Delle Donne and Natasha Cloud were the other two to post double-digit efforts in the previous clash, though neither posted particularly great fantasy lines by their high standards.

The Skinny

The highest expected output among the four games, Chicago carries a six-point underdog tag into Sunday's tilt versus the Sparks. Los Angeles has been least efficient this season on the glass, sporting a slate-worst 48.6 percent rebound rate, though a slate-worst 6.2 defensive rebound rate has only led to 11.6 second-chance points per game, checking in fourth. Diamond DeShields is coming off of a 10 free-throw attempt game against the Aces last time out and could find her way there often again Sunday against a Sparks squad that has allowed 18 attempts per game. The Sparks also allow the second-best three-point shot on the slate (35.3) which resulted in DeShields knocking down three of her six attempts the last time the two clubs met for a team-high 23 points. She didn't provide a ton else int he contest, so a slightly more well-rounded showing Sunday could put a strong fantasy effort in the books. Kahleah Copper (12 points) and Allie Quigley (10 points) rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Sky in the previous meeting.

On the flip side, the Sparks had five different players finish in double-figures the last time these two clubs played. Riquna Williams, who remains on suspension until later in the month, finished with a team-high 19 points, while Chelsea Gray tallied 13 and a limited Candace Parker at the time supplied 12. Parker has seemingly hit her offensive groove following her second round of absences, posting three of her four highest fantasy outputs of the season in the last three games. Chicago allows a slate-high 36.1 points per game in the paint, which should work in the favor of Chiney Ogwumike, who scores 72 percent of her points in the paint area. She provides a more favorable value on DraftKings and could be worth inclusion in the lineup if her minutes expand as she distances herself from a tooth extraction over a week ago that forced her out of two games and limited her to 11 minutes in her first game back.

The Skinny

Two of the three stingiest defenses on the slate go head-to-head to close things out Sunday. Neither Connecticut nor Las Vegas have glaring weaknesses on defense, though the Aces do allow a slate-high 7.5 three-point makes per game despite sporting a solid 32.7 opposing three-point percentage. The presence of Liz Cambage protecting the rim could force more shots outside again, which played a big role in Shekinna Stricklen's 15-point effort the last time the two teams played. Jonquel Jones and Courtney Williams led the way for the Sun, combining for 35 points, 21 boards, six steals and four blocks in the first matchup. The Aces are the team most prone to getting blocked in the league (5.5 times per game), boosting Jones to one of her better fantasy efforts of the campaign the last go around.

Another sound defensive club in the Sun will likely lead the Aces to move the ball around a lot. The Sun seem to have trouble keeping up with ball movement, allowing 19.3 assists per game (second-highest on slate). A'ja Wilson was the biggest contributor last time the two met, so her absence will certainly be felt in the rematch. Cambage dropped 14 points, with Kayla McBride and Dearica Hamby rounding out the Aces' double-digit scorers. Of particular note is that Cambage and Hamby both went into double-digits despite both playing 16 minutes or less in the game. With both likely slated for 30-plus minutes in Sunday's game, those numbers from the last outing could balloon for the two stars.
