Some head-to-head points leagues may have already started playoff matchups, but every league should start the postseason by Monday. The purpose of this article will be pretty straightforward -- help readers take home their league championships. In order to do that, we'll highlight some of best streaming matchups, both for hitters and pitchers over the next two weeks.

There will be different settings for every league in terms of one vs. two-week scoring periods. Big-league teams also constantly shift their rotations and lineups at this point in the season as well, so the methodology will be inexact. However, I've ranked teams by wOBA and SIERA across the last 30 days to pick out some of the most favorable spots for the first stretch of the postseason.

Find out which projected starters are taking the mound and when with RotoWire's Probable Pitchers page!

PITCHERS

Sacramento Athletics

@STL (29th), @LAA (24th), vs. BOS (13th), vs. CIN (26th)

The A's have emerged as a potent lineup, but it may also be time to take a look at streaming some of their starters. Home starts are always a bit scary given the context of Sutter Health Park, but it's difficult to find a better slate of matchups. Luis Morales is a two-start pitcher for the upcoming week and has worked a combined 18 innings while maintaining an 18:4 K:BB and 1.00 ERA in his last three starts. He should be widely available.

Chicago White Sox

@MIN (22nd), @DET (12th), vs. TB (25th), @CLE  (30th)

Chicago White Sox

@MIN (22nd), @DET (12th), vs. TB (25th), @CLE  (30th)

The White Sox are another team not known for their rotation, and I'd primarily save any of their starters for desperate times. Shane Smith is probably the best option to consider.

Kansas City Royals

vs. LAA (24th), vs. MIN (22nd), @CLE (30th), @PHI (8th)

The Phillies' lineup is very dangerous, but the rest of the series lines up well for the Royals. Ryan Bergert has been sharp since being traded to Kansas City and is widely available.

Los Angeles Dodgers

@PIT (16th), @BAL (28th), vs. COL (20th), @SF (19th)

The matchups aren't as good for the Dodgers, but they have two pitcher-friendly road parks (PIT and SF) and also draw the Rockies away from Coors Field. Streaming is likely the more difficult part of the equation, but Emmet Sheehan and Clayton Kershaw might be available in shallower formats.

San Diego Padres

@BAL (28th), @COL (20th), vs. CIN (26th), vs. COL

San Diego is similar to the Dodgers in that it is a difficult rotation to stream. Nestor Cortes could still be available, and this may be the month Dylan Cease redeems himself after a very disappointing season.

HITTERS

Sacramento Athletics

@STL (20th), @LAA (24th), vs. BOS (19th), vs. CIN (9th)

Most of the A's lineup is likely rostered, because they have hit very well for the last few months. Zack Gelof could be one name that is available that is worth taking a chance on. They draw a strong combination of exploitable matchups and two series at their favorable home park.

Chicago Cubs

vs. ATL (30th), vs. WSH (27th), @ATL, vs. TB (2nd)

The Cubs may have arguably the best set of matchups of any team, as Atlanta and Washington both have had miserable pitching in the last month. They are likely also highly rostered, but it's worth adding even lower-end options in the lineup.

Cleveland Guardians

@BOS (19th), @TB (2nd), KC (25th), CWS (18th)

Cleveland doesn't have quite the same level of matchups of the first two teams we highlighted, but there will be available options to stream. The lineup has been miserable across the last 30 days, but Kyle Manzardo, C.J. Kayfus and Daniel Schneemann are borderline options to at least consider.

Minnesota Twins

vs. CWS (18th), @KC (26th), @LAA (24th), vs. ARI (28th)

The Twins finally have the sweet spot of matchup and strong streaming options. Luke Keaschall, Matt Wallner, Trevor Larnach and even Ryan Jeffers all have .320 wOBAs or better in the last 30 days.

San Francisco Giants

@COL (29th), @STL (20th), vs. ARI (28th), vs. LAD (3rd)

Jung Hoo Lee is back on track while Casey Schmitt and Luis Matos are both intriguing hitters to stream. The Dodgers are a matchup to avoid, but otherwise it sets up well for the young hitters to continue to hit well.
