SLATE PREVIEW

Minnesota (vs. Nashville), Vegas (vs. Detroit), NY Islanders (vs. Boston) and Montreal (vs. Philadelphia) are the biggest favorites on the Moneyline. The over/under for the Mammoth-Sabres, Bruins-Islanders, Lightning-Avalanche, Panthers-Ducks and Red Wings-Golden Knights is 6.5 goals. The Oilers-Stars and Predators-Wild matchups are expected to have 6.0 goals, while the remaining contests anticipate 5.5 goals.

GOALIES

Filip Gustavsson, MIN vs. NSH ($8,400): Gustavsson is coming off a 26-save performance in Saturday's 5-2 win over Vancouver. He went 2-0-0 versus Nashville last season while stopping 68 of 73 shots. The Predators will play in the second half of a back-to-back after hosting the Canucks on Monday.

Lukas Dostal, ANA vs. FLA ($7,400): Dostal has won four of his last five outings while stopping 146 of the 157 shots he has faced. He had a 31-save performance in a 3-2 shootout win over Florida last Tuesday. As a result, Dostal has plenty of bang for the buck potential on this slate.

VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS

Jason Robertson, DAL vs. EDM ($7,400): Robertson hasn't scored a goal in five straight games, but he has three assists and 21 shots on net during that span. A visit from the Oilers could be what he needs to end his goal drought. Robertson had four tallies on nine shots and two helpers in three games versus Edmonton last season.

Bo Horvat, NYI vs. BOS ($6,800: Horvat has been productive this season, compiling seven goals, 13 points and 40 shots on net through 12 appearances. He has two tallies and two helpers in his last four outings. Horvat has four goals and 10 points in his past six contests against the Bruins.

J.T. Miller, NYR vs. CAR ($6,300): Miller has one goal on 11 shots and one assist in two games going into Tuesday night's action. He had one goal and three assists in three outings versus the Hurricanes last season.

Trevor Zegras, PHI at MTL ($4,100): Zegras' four-game point streak ended in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Calgary. However, he has registered four goals, eight points and 15 shots in his past five outings. Zegras has two goals and two helpers on the man advantage during that stretch. He has found the back of the net twice while adding four assists and nine shots in five previous meetings with the Canadiens.

FORWARD LINE STACK

Wild vs. Predators

Kirill Kaprizov (W - $8,600), Marco Rossi (C - $4,400), Marcus Johansson (W - $3,200)

Kaprizov's four-game point streak ended in Saturday's 5-2 win over Vancouver, but he has two goals, six points and 15 shots in his past five matches. Rossi has collected two tallies on 11 shots and five assists during his five-game point spree. Johansson has supplied five goals, three helpers and 21 shots in his last nine appearances, including four markers and two assists over his five-game point streak.

Minnesota's top line has considerable offensive upside on Tuesday's slate against a Nashville team playing the second half of a back-to-back situation.

DEFENSEMEN

Cale Makar, COL vs. TBL ($7,800): Makar has amassed two goals, nine helpers (five on the power play), 16 shots and 12 blocks during his seven-game point streak. He has generated two goals and eight points in his last eight regular-season outings against Colorado.

Matthew Schaefer, NYI vs. BOS ($5,500): Schaefer is coming off a two-goal performance in Sunday's 3-2 win over Columbus. The rookie defender has filled the stat sheet with five assists, 10 points, 36 shots and 12 blocks in his first 12 NHL appearances.

Jacob Trouba, ANA vs. FLA ($4,700): Trouba could be an excellent value play if his offensive surge continues. He has two goals, five assists, 12 shots and 13 blocks across his last six contests. His category coverage makes him an intriguing option for Tuesday's slate.
