I'm focusing on an interleague battle and NL West clash for Wednesday's SGPs and props, and with both games unfolding in very hitter-friendly parks, and one team particularly enjoying a favorable history against the opposing starter, there are some clear paths to take.

Best MLB Bets Wednesday
Toronto Blue Jays
at Cincinnati Reds
Best Bets
This Shane Bieber-Zack Littell matchup notably features the Blue Jays as clear road favorites, and Littell's troubled history against Toronto bats is certainly part of the reason. Current Blue Jays hitters have gotten to the Reds right-hander for a collective .317 average and .893 OPS over 87 career encounters, a span where they've belted eight extra-base hits (five homers).
Bieber has been very impressive over his first two starts of the season, already handling 87- and 92-pitch workloads right out of the gate and posting a 2.38 ERA and 0.62 WHIP while generating a 15:0 K:BB. The right-hander has allowed a homer in each of those outings, but he's facing a Reds squad that mustered just a .295 wOBA and -5.2 wRAA against righties at home in August.
Littell is generally effective at wiggling out of trouble, but he has middling swing-and-miss stuff (6.1 K/9) and has plenty of trouble keeping the ball in the park (1.7 HR/9). He's also been issuing more walks than usual recently, and as mentioned earlier, he has a daunting matchup against a Blue Jays team with a favorable history against him and which has scored 24 combined runs over the last three games.
Toronto went into Tuesday's 12-run outburst already boasting an AL-high .290 average and .373 wOBA against right-handed pitching on the road over the last month of play, along with an MLB-best .874 OPS. Consequently, an SGP banking on a Blue Jays lead after five and a solid outing by Bieber is in play. Then, with Vladimir Guerrero breaking out of a long slump Tuesday with a three-hit night and owning a .571 average and 1.700 OPS in 10 career encounters against Littell, a prop on him being a key part of Toronto's offense again is also a consideration.

San Francisco Giants
at Colorado Rockies
Best Bets
Giants LHP Robbie Ray and Rockies RHP German Marquez tangle in this Coors Field battle, one in which the Giants are heavy moneyline favorites, and which carries the typically robust Coors total of 11 runs.
Ray has been more hittable of late, pitching to a 5.32 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 1.2 HR/9 across the 22 innings covering his last four starts. He was particularly taken to task by the Orioles his last time on mound, allowing six runs across 4.1 innings. Wednesday, Ray is facing a group of hitters that have given him his fair share of trouble over the years, posting a .289 average and .781 OPS across 46 career plate appearances.
Given those numbers, it isn't surprising to learn Ray has traditionally had a tough time at Coors, where he's conceded a .314 average, .827 OPS, 5.09 ERA and 1.85 WHIP across 46 innings over 10 starts. And, despite their dismal season overall, the Rockies have been lethal against lefties at home over the last month with a .315 average, .847 OPS and .362 wOBA in that split.
Marquez has plenty of vulnerability as well, considering he just allowed eight earned runs over 4.1 innings to the Cubs in his return from the injured list last time out, and he owns a 1-8 record, 6.36 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 1.5 HR/9 across 46.2 innings at Coors this season. Marquez has also yielded an .821 OPS over 61 career encounters with current Giants hitters, and San Francisco went into Tuesday's action with an .802 OPS and .349 wOBA against right-handed pitching on the road since Aug. 1.
Marquez has also surrendered .289 and .340 averages to opponents the first and second time through the order, so an SGP betting on the two teams combining for at least five runs in the first five innings and the Rockies getting to at least four runs in a stadium where they're averaging 4.6 per contest is my main bet.
Then, with the red-hot Hunter Goodman now sporting a .277 average and .846 OPS following his 3-for-4, four-RBI night Tuesday and boasting a career .500 average and 1.333 OPS in six career plate appearances against Ray, I like him to get to at least two combined hits + runs + RBI after averaging 2.2 per game to this point.
