NATIONAL LEAGUE

START

1. Cliff Lee - at SD, at LAD (quietly brilliant this year having yielded more than 3 ER in just two of 15 GS)
2. Gio Gonzalez - ARI, at NYM (1-1 in last 9 GS despite 2.26 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 57 K over 59.7 IP)
3. Clayton Kershaw - SF
4. Adam Wainwright - at OAK
5. Matt Harvey - WAS
6. Shelby Miller - at OAK
7. Stephen Strasburg - ARI (has given up exactly 1 ER in each of last six netting a 1.46 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in 37 IP)
8. Madison Bumgarner - at LAD, at COL (if the second start wasn't in COL, he'd slot higher)
9. Mike Minor - at KC
10. Lance Lynn - at HOU (14 Ks coming here ... book it!)
11. Jordan Zimmermann - ARI
12. Cole Hamels - at SD (he's been much better in June with a 3.46 ERA; mechanics have improved, too)
13. Jeff Samardzija - at SEA (huge bounce back against in STL after small lull to start June)
14. Hyun-Jin Ryu - SF, PHI
15. Eric Stults - PHI, at MIA (since May 1st: 2.31 ERA,

17. Patrick Corbin - at WAS

19. Francisco Liriano - MIL (he just keeps going)
20. Johnny Cueto - at TEX
21. Homer Bailey - at OAK
22. Matt Cain - at COL (hopefully this doesn't derail his excellent three-start stretch)
23. Zack Greinke - PHI
24. Julio Teheran - ARI (maturing before our eyes)
25. Yovani Gallardo - CHC (3.51 ERA in last 8 GS with 44 K; 1.67 ERA in June alone over 4 GS)
26. Jose Fernandez - MIN
27. Gerrit Cole - MIL (we're seeing immediately why he was a #1 overall pick)
28. Tyler Chatwood - NYM (very underrated)
29. Jeff Locke - at SEA
30. Ricky Nolasco - SD
31. Kris Medlen - at KC (sub-3.00 ERA is a bit of a mirage if 1.27 WHIP remains)
32. Travis Wood - at SEA
33. Paul Maholm - ARI
34. Zack Wheeler - at CWS, WAS (even this is a high ranking after one start)
35. Kyle Kendrick - at SD, at LAD
36. Kyle Lohse - CHC, at PIT
37. Chris Capuano - SF, PHI
38. Edwin Jackson - at MIL, at SEA (skills are far better than a 5.49 ERA)

44. Jorge de la Rosa - SF
45. Ian Kennedy - at ATL
46. Nathan Eovaldi - SD (solid debut in Arizona; keep an eye on him)
47. Shaun Marcum - at CWS (skills are far better than a 5.49 ERA and 0-9 record)
48. Jacob Turner - SD
49. Alfredo Figaro - at PIT
50. Jhoulys Chacin - SF
51. Bronson Arroyo - at OAK (the NL's Bartolo Colon?)
52. Jason Marquis - PHI
53. Jeanmar Gomez - at SEA

CAUTION

54. Jeremy Hefner - at COL
55. Tom Koehler - MIN
56. Wade Miley - at WAS
57. Roy Oswalt - at BOS (the 11 Ks were nice, but BOS is much better than the WAS offense that got to him)
58. Matt Garza - at MIL

60. Randall Delgado - at ATL
61. Jonathan Pettibone - at LAD
62. Juan Nicasio - at BOS, SF

AMERICAN LEAGUE

START

1. Yu Darvish - at NYY, CIN (has 46 Ks in last 5 GS; Jeremy Guthrie has 45 in 15 GS)
2. Chris Sale - NYM, CLE (should build a nice cushion v. NYM to sustain some damage v. CLE)
3. Hiroki Kuroda - TEX, at BAL (he's given up more than 3 ER just twice in 15 GS)
4. James Shields - at MIN
5. Max Scherzer - at TB (the 1a to Darvish's 1 as best SP in AL thus far)
6. Justin Verlander - at TB (placing Scherzer as the top DET SP is the most "panic" you'll get from me; he's fine)
7. Felix Hernandez - PIT (a soft landing to bounce back from the epic collapse in LAA)
8. Hisashi Iwakuma - CHC
9. Ervin Santana - ATL, at MIN
10. Clay Buchholz - COL, TOR (slated to return from the DL Tuesday)
11. Justin Masterson - at BAL, at CWS
12. Jarrod Parker - STL (8 straight QS and 9 of 10 with 2.97 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 66.7 IP)
13. John Lackey - TOR (he has a 2.42 ERA in 44.7 IP over his last 7 GS)
14. Doug Fister - LAA
15. CC Sabathia - at BAL
16. Derek Holland - at NYY
17. Bartolo Colon - STL (makes up for lack of Ks with sparkling ERA, WHIP, and win total)
18. Corey Kluber - at BAL (getting better every outing)
19. Josh Johnson - at BOS
20. C.J. Wilson - at DET, at HOU (10 QS in last 13 having allowed more than 3 ER just once)
21. Jon Lester - TOR (good luck dealing with these next three)
22. Matt Moore - TOR (you can't bench them because of their upside)
23. Jered Weaver - at DET (but they've been absolutely maddening of late)
24. Chris Tillman - CLE, NYY
25. Rick Porcello - LAA, at TB (tough outing v. BAL shouldn't dissuade you as he's truly grown)
26. Andy Pettitte - TEX
27. Bud Norris - LAA
28. Jose Quintana - CLE (he's avoided the complete disaster all season giving up 5 ER just once)
29. Tommy Milone - CIN
30. Scott Kazmir - at BAL
31. Miguel Gonzalez - CLE
32. Dan Straily - STL
33. Jordan Lyles - LAA (never would've bet I'd have three HOU SPs above the Caution line)
34. Hector Santiago - CLE
35. A.J. Griffin - CIN
36. Jeremy Hellickson - TOR, DET (not really sold based on one good start, especially facing these two lineups)
37. Jeremy Guthrie - at MIN
38. Jeremy Bonderman - CHC
39. Joe Saunders - PIT (could shutout the '27 Yankees at home)
40. David Phelps - at BAL
41. R.A. Dickey - at TB
42. Esmil Rogers - at TB, at BOS (improving each start, but tough slate and lack of track record tempers expectations)
43. Kevin Correia - at MIA, KC
44. Zach Britton - CLE, NYY
45. Ubaldo Jimenez - at BAL, at CWS
46. Trevor Bauer - at CWS
47. Jerome Williams - at HOU (since getting trounced in first start of the season: 3.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 3.3 K/BB in 46 IP)
48. Felix Doubront - TOR (hasn't allowed more than 3 ER in any of last 7 GS posting a 2.81 ERA in 41.7 IP)
49. Dallas Keuchel - LAA (surprised by his inclusion? 2.59 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in last 5 GS)
50. Mark Buehrle - at TB, at BOS
51. Phil Hughes - TEX
52. Ryan Dempster - CLE
53. Aaron Harang - CHC (he has a 3.64 ERA in 8 GS since the start of May)
54. Luis Mendoza - ATL (hit around by CLE last time out, but still has 3.35 ERA in last 9 GS)
55. John Danks - NYM

CAUTION

56. Scott Diamond - at MIA
57. Jose Alvarez - LAA (he's been great in his first two outings, but he gets a third straight tough offense; be careful)
