Jose Berrios, MIN at SD ($9,200) – There are a lot of good mid-ranged options tonight and of course it’s never a bad idea to roll out Max Scherzer ($11,500) or Chris Sale ($11,400). However, Berrios has a lot of upside tonight as a good strikeout pitcher in a great ballpark against a weak hitting team. While Berrios is coming off a paltry nine fantasy-point effort last start out, he has always bounced back and hasn’t had two bad starts in a row. On top of that, this is a much better matchup than the Dodgers as the Padres are still tied for third worst in wOBP (.307) with the highest strikeout rate (25.7 percent) against right-handed pitching.

Yasmani Grandal, LAD at ATL ($2,900)Russell Martin ($2,700) is going to be a popular choice tonight given he homered last night and gets to face Mike Pelfrey, who is at the $3,000 minimum for a pitcher tonight. Grandal is a good pivot off Martin and is well rested after getting last night off and only pinch-hitting Sunday. He’ll go up against Lucas Sims who will be making his first major-league start, although he’s had some success at Triple-A.

First Base

Mitch Moreland, BOS vs CLE ($2,300) – This is going to be a contrarian pick with most owners shying away from the Carlos Carrasco matchup. However, Moreland has a good history against Carrasco, going 4-for-10 with two home runs against him (1.600 OPS; only Kyle Seager has better BvP numbers tonight among players with a minimum 10 ABs). Carrasco has also struggled the most against left-handed hitters, giving up a .343 wOBA to them this season.

Second Base

Rougned Odor, TEX vs SEA ($3,200) – Odor was only rostered in roughly 33 percent of all cash games last night and that number should increase significantly tonight. He hit a home run last night and gets a good matchup in Arlington against Erasmo Ramirez. Erasmo is giving up his worst splits on the road to left-handed hitters this season with a .347 wOBA mark.

Jean Segura, SEA at TEX ($3,100) – Seattle bats in Texas are a good target tonight, especially given the matchup with Nick Martinez. He’s given up a career .341 wOBA at home and Segura is riding a seven-game hitting streak. He should hit towards the top of the lineup and still is a solid “speed/power” threat for the Mariners.

Third Base

Anthony Rendon, WAS at MIA ($3,600) – All of the Nationals are in play tonight against Chris O'Grady but Rendon should be at the top of the list. Rendon has a ridiculous .516 wOBA against left-handed pitching this season, only striking out 11.8 percent of the time (and walking 17.6 percent). O'Grady in his short time in the bigs has allowed a .376 wOBA mark to right-handed hitters.

Albert Almora, CHC vs ARI ($2,100) – Almora’s a great option that will allow a lineup to fit in Scherzer or Sale. Almora is almost a fixture in the lineup against a southpaw and has hit them to the tune of a .419 wOBA. That’ll be the case tonight against Patrick Corbin, who has surrendered a .428 wOBA on the road to right-handed hitters this season. The other nice aspect here is Almora’s defense often keeps him in the game in later innings, suggesting he’ll see four at-bats tonight.

Jose Bautista, TOR at CWS ($3,300) – Bautista is going to be criminally under-owned today after going 0-for-5 for the second straight game. He was well over 50 percent owned in cash games and based on recency bias owners will ignore him despite the matchup against Pelfrey. This season Pelfrey has given up a .347 wOBA at home, including 10 home runs in only 43 innings of work. Bautista’s best splits are on the road against right-handed pitching, where his number almost mirrors the aforementioned Pelfrey’s at .345.

Nomar Mazara, TEX vs SEA ($3,300) – The case against Ramirez has already been made and it’s expected to be even hotter tomorrow in Arlington than it was Monday. Mazara should be rested after taking Monday off and had gone 8-for-19 (.421 with four doubles and a home run) over his previous five games. He’s been even better than teammate Odor at home against right-handed pitching, sporting a .405 wOBA.
