It was strange to see Justin Tucker miss a 41-yard field goal, but Greg Zuerlein sure took the heat off of him. And I didn't catch this on the condensed broadcast, but apparently Dez Bryant was pulled from warmups after testing positive for COVID, You'd think a light bulb would go off -- that maybe others who were still contagious would show up positive later -- but this was Tuesday night, and the NFL is out of room to move this game.

  • Lamar Jackson (13-94-1, two TD passes, 107 pass yards) missed some throws, but he also made a great one to Marquise Brown in the corner of the end zone and moved as well as he did last year.
  • J.K. Dobbins (11-71-1) and Gus Edwards (7-101-0) ran wild on a soft Cowboys defense, but neither had as many carries as Jackson, and Mark Ingram also got six carries. The Ravens don't throw much to the backs, either, so the upside is fairly modest.
  • Brown (8-5-39-1) mostly caught short stuff except for the touchdown. He'll make big plays, but it won't be easy to count on him, especially when red-zone hog Mark Andrews returns.
  • Either the Cowboys offensive line got a lot better, or the Ravens pass rush a lot worse.
  • There's not much to say about the Cowboys offensively. Andy Dalton had time and made some throws, but nothing stood out. Ezekiel Elliott (18-77-0, 6-4-18-0)  ran hard and well, but his output was modest.
  • I was impressed with Dalton's arm strength on the Hail Mary at least.
