76ers Top Trail Blazers, 113-103
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 113-103, at Wells Fargo Center on Monday night.

The 76ers (4-2) came in as the more rested team and looked like it early, jumping out to a 27-21 lead over the Trail Blazers (3-4) through the first 12 minutes. However, Portland bounced back to eliminate all but one point from its deficit before halftime. Philadelphia's strong play on both ends of the floor in the second half was subsequently key to the win, as they outscored Portland by a 59-50 margin over the final two quarters. The hosts were outrebounded, 45-34, but they helped offset that disadvantage by shooting 51.8 percent and forcing 14 turnovers.

Norman Powell led the Trail Blazers with 22 points, adding one rebound. Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum contributed 20 points apiece, with Lillard also recording 10 assists and seven rebounds and McCollum posting four boards, three assists and one steal. Anfernee Simons provided 17 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Seth Curry paced the 76ers with 23 points, complementing them with six boards and five assists. Georges Niang supplied 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and one block. Furkan Korkmaz registered 15 points, five assists, two rebounds and one steal. Andre Drummond generated a 14-point, 15-rebound double-double that also includes seven assists, five steals and one block. Danny Green and Tyrese Maxey offered 11 and 10 points, respectively, while posting three rebounds and three assists.

The Trail Blazers remain on the road and pay a visit to the Cavaliers on Wednesday night, while the 76ers host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night as well.
