This article is part of our Fantasy Premier League Rankings series.
The 2019/20 fantasy Premier League season has officially kicked off, at least in terms of allowing us to start building salary cap teams and putting together draft rosters, and we're back with detailed rankings to get you started. The table below breaks down our top 201 players (technically Andrew went beyond 201), as well as the ability to sort the by individual ranker, individual position or even individual team.
The rankings are more suitable for draft formats, in that we're more likely to side with a player who has more upside than some fourth defender who might get a few clean sheets. And while there are a number of different draft formats available, we are primarily focusing on the league's official game, at least in terms of positional eligibility. The rankings should also be usable for best ball formats, either in salary caps, drafts or auctions.
Additionally, RotoWire will be publishing full season projections for more than 400 players, and we are working on a number of tools to allow you to use both the rankings and projections for your drafts and auctions. Finally, we will be updating these rankings weekly until the season begins to account for new transfers, injuries or obvious changes in potential playing time, and we'll also have corresponding podcasts to explain our processes and decisions.
As always, if you have any feedback or strong opinions about players we ranked (or didn't rank), please hit up the comments below or reach out to us in the
