Top DFS Pitching and Team Stacking Strategies for DraftKings

In this article, I'm going to take a deeper dive into pitching and team stacking options. Let's take a look at our optimizer's rankings of the pitchers for the DraftKings nine-game main slate, sorted by projected fantasy points.

Looking at the top of tonight's pitching pool, we find four quality starters priced in the $9k+ range, with a clear standout option in Tyler Glasnow. We expect him to easily be the highest rostered pitcher, as he flashed his upside with a 35.4 DK point performance two starts back. Only the Guardians are projected to score less than the Cardinals tonight.

We've also highlighted Max Fried, Michael Soroka and Eric Lauer in our optimizer. Lauer gets a massive $3,500 discount compared to his FanDuel salary which makes him our top point-per dollar starter and an intriguing value option even at Coors Field. Fried is another pitcher worthy to spend up on against a Rangers offense that ranks 24th in runs scored and 28th in wOBA. Note that Sean Manaea and Yusei Kikuchi rank well in the metrics below.
