The WNBA kicks off a new week of the regular season with a trio of games to fill Labor Day. Two of those games, the night games, will be aired nationally on NBA TV, with the first game being an afternoon battle available on League Pass.
Before the games begin, let's take a look at each game and which players you should look for in the world of DFS.

WNBA DFS Showdown Picks and Lineup Building Strategy
The first battle of the night is an afternoon between teams on opposite ends of the WNBA standings.
Atlanta enters the contest officially as a playoff team but still has postseason positioning on the line. The Dream hold a record of 25-14, tied for third place and just a half-game back of the No. 2 seed. A win would be big for Atlanta in its hope of clinching a top-two seed in the playoffs. With plenty left to play for, expect the Dream to play rotationally as they have to this point in the season, even with a postseason berth wrapped up. Allisha Gray has been on a tear lately, averaging a team-best 19.2 points over her last five outings. Behind her, the post duo of Rhyne Howard and Brionna Jones is worth adding to your lineups, both averaging north of 13 points over the last five contests.
Connecticut, on the other side, has struggled most of the season but picked things up as of late, coming out of the bottom of the standings while 5-5 over its last 10 contests. Over the past 10 games, the Sun have taken a leap defensively, holding the sixth-best defensive rating in that stretch. Tina Charles has been outstanding with a team-leading 16.2 points over that 10-game span. Two contributors who have played well as of late are Leila Lacan and Saniya Rivers, each averaging double digits in scoring over the 5-5 stretch.

WNBA DFS Showdown Picks and Lineup Building Strategy
The second game of the day is much like the first in that it's a showdown between two teams on opposite ends of the WNBA standings.
Dallas has had a tough season — both as a team and with injuries — while learning how to shape the team around rookie star Paige Bueckers and All-Star Arike Ogunbowale. The Wings enter Monday with the worst record in the league, though they are neck-and-neck with the Chicago Sky for that spot. Dallas has struggled even more as of late, having lost seven straight and nine of the last 10. With all of that said, there are a few Wings players that you should consider for DFS with Ogunbowale still out (knee), that being the two mentioned earlier: Bueckers and Maddy Siegrist. Bueckers, who is a big banged up with a calf injury, has led Dallas with 20.0 points per game over the last five-game stretch, while Siegrist has stepped up nicely with 15.8 points over the same span.
Minnesota has been the best team in the league most of the season, sitting at an impressive record of 31-8 with five games left in the regular season. The Lynx have not only clinched a playoff spot, but they have officially secured homecourt advantage throughout the postseason as the No. 1 seed. It may not seem like Minnesota has much to play for, but don't expect the Lynx starters to see much of a decrease in minutes or production. Their minutes might drop a few, but we'll still see plenty of their stars taking the court as usual. A few players behind the obvious names of Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride that you should consider for your lineups Monday are Courtney Williams and DiJonai Carrington. After a few below-average performances, Williams has found her stride once again and is often the No. 2 option on the Lynx. When it comes to Carrington, she is coming off a strong performance Saturday, and her role will continue to expand the rest of the regular season and in the playoffs.
Los Angeles Sparks

Katie Lou Samuelson | F | Knee | OFS | 5/1/2026 |

Nika Muhl | G | Knee | OFS | 5/1/2026 |
WNBA DFS Showdown Picks and Lineup Building Strategy
Capping off the night is a matchup between one team fighting for a playoff spot and one battling for postseason positioning.
Los Angeles enters Monday in almost a must-win situation, sitting a few games back from the eighth and final playoff spot. A win would obviously help the case for the Sparks, while a loss could essentially squander any opportunity of making a late playoff push. Los Angeles had hit a nice groove after the All-Star break to put itself right in the playoff conversation, but the Sparks are on a bit of a dip with a two-game losing streak and sitting at 5-5 over the last 10 contests. Kelsey Plum and Dearica Hamby are players you need to add to your lineups if you have the money available for them, but a player at a lower price point that could give solid production is Rickea Jackson, who is averaging over 16 points over the last 10 games.
Seattle essentially has a playoff spot secured but is still fighting between the sixth and eighth seeds, so there is plenty at stake Monday and over the final handful of games for the Storm. Seattle has had a bit of a rollercoaster regular season thus far but is 6-4 in its last 10 and has a two-game winning streak, one of the wins coming on the road against the league-leading Lynx. Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins will once again lead Seattle in this game, but the rookie Dominique Malonga has been solid as of late and is also worth a look at a lower price if she's cleared to play. Brittney Sykes has also produced for the Storm on both ends of the floor since she arrived in Seattle.
WNBA DFS Picks Today
FanDuel
- Kelsey Plum ($6,800)
- Maddy Siegrist ($6,600)
- Courtney Williams ($6,600)
Plum has been the star for Los Angeles all season, and with a big game Monday in almost a must-win situation, she should put up big numbers. Siegrist has stepped up for the injury-filled Wings over the last 10-plus games, and with Dallas once again shorthanded, she will get plenty of opportunity. Williams has improved her game over the last few contests and should continue that trend on Monday, not only boosting her team with scoring but also through her distribution and rebounding.
Value Plays
- Rickea Jackson ($5,800)
- Alanna Smith ($5,700)
DraftKings
- Napheesa Collier ($12,500)
- Dearica Hamby ($9,500)
- Brittney Sykes ($7,300)
Collier will be trying to strengthen her case for WNBA MVP over the final five games, so look for her to continue to put up impressive numbers. Hamby has been a great second option this season behind Plum, and with the Sparks trying to make a playoff push, she will have to step up again. Sykes has been a great addition to Seattle so far, making an impact offensively and defensively to boost her productivity.
Value Plays
- DiJonai Carrington ($5,900)
- Erica Wheeler ($4,300)
