The Skinny

The recent success for Dallas hasn't done them any favors in regards to the odds heading into Sunday's matchup, though it has shifted 2.5 points in their direction after it opened at 13. The club gets Kayla Thornton and Kristine Anigwe back from suspension, while Kaela Davis will serve her one-game ban Sunday. At 149.5, this contest checks in as the lowest over-under on the slate, meaning Dallas is expected to post the lowest score of the day. This should lead to few Wings players being owned. Arike Ogunbowale had notched 20-plus points in three straight and five of the last six, while Allisha Gray is coming off a season-high 22 versus the Liberty on Friday.

Connecticut sits on the opposite side of the coin as 10.5-point favorites. The Wings' slowed pace doesn't do them any favors for fantasy purposes, so picking your spots should prove beneficial. Among players who average 10 or more minutes per game, Alyssa Thomas ranks seventh in the league in fast-break scoring. That played out well the last time around versus a Wings squad that allows a slate-high 10.3 fast-break points per game, as Thomas racked up a season-high 28 points en route to her second-best fantasy output of the season. Jasmine Thomas chipped in with 19 thanks to a trio of three-point makes and four free-throw attempts. She finished with a double-double, collecting 11 assists to go along with two boards and two steals.

The Skinny

Indiana lands in one of the higher-scoring games on the slate, but also as the biggest underdog among the 10 teams playing Sunday. Despite possessing the league's most efficient offense by a wide margin, the Mystics still have some struggles on the defensive end of the floor. The biggest area of concern is around the rim, where they have allowed 12.2 second-chance points (third-most on slate) and 33.2 points i the pant (also third-most). Natalie Achonwa has predictably produced well in the first two meetings this season as a result, averaging 12.5 points and 8.0 rebounds. Erica Wheeler has also dropped an average of 12.5 per contest while supplying five boards and 4.5 assists.

Washington's league-best offensive rating going against an Indiana squad that sports the second-worst defensive rating on the slate certainly bodes well for the chances of a high-scoring output from the Mystics. Indiana isn't particularly keen at forcing turnovers on the defensive end of the floor and allows a slate-high 20.2 assists per game, which bodes well for primary ball-handlers. With Kristi Toliver still sidelined, that falls primarily to Natasha Cloud, who collected eight of them Friday against the Lynx. Emma Meesseman chipped in with a season-high eight as well in that contest.

The Skinny

One of the better matchups of the day goes down in the Windy City, pitting the two fastest-paced teams on the slate against each other. Las Vegas is expected to get a huge boost Sunday in the form of A'ja Wilson returning from a prolonged ankle injury. She practiced in full Friday and should make her way back into the lineup, though it remains to be seen if she will start. Given the nature of her absence, it wouldn't be surprising to see her role limited out of the gates. AS is often the case, Liz Cambage should be featured again Sunday. Chicago sports one of the lower-end defensive rebound rates (67.3) on the slate and allows slate-high marks for both points in the paint and second chance points. Those issues played out in the last two meetings, where Cambage averaged 22 points, 10 boards and four assists per game. She will likely be the featured anchor in many lineups Sunday.

The Aces sport the best defensive rating on the slate, so the Sky will need to take advantage of whatever they can, particularly on the defensive end of the floor. The Aces allow opponents 8.5 steals per game, which worked in Diamond DeShields favor) in the first two games this season. DeShields averaged two steals in the contests while topping the team with 13.5 points per contest. The Sky will be without Jantel Lavender, who averaged 12.5 points in the first two clashes, which has led to a significant role for Astou Ndour in the last two games. Ndour has responded with more than 20 fantasy points in each of the two contests.

The Skinny

Without Asia Durr and potentially Amanda Zahui B yet again, New York's slate-worst defensive rating will likely be put on display yet again Sunday. Fortunately for the Liberty, Brittney Griner remains on suspension, opening some space around the rim that is not normally there versus the Mercury. Phoenix sports the worst rebound rate (47.3) and defensive rebound rate (66.4) of the 10 teams playing. Tina Charles took advantage of that in the last meeting, notching 23 points, 12 boards, four assists, one steal and one block for a top-five fantasy output on the season. Reshanda Gray is another player who loves to crash the glass and finished with 10 boards over 20 minutes in the previous clash, making her a potential sleeper in DFS formats, though her minutes have been limited of late.

Going against the Liberty is more a question of what aren't they among the worst in defensively. The only area New York doesn't check out among the worst defensively is opponent fast-break points. This would potentially result in a slight downgrade for Brianna Turner, who notches 13.6 of her points via that avenue. Without Griner again, look for DeWanna Bonner to take on a huge role offensively yet again. Along with Liz Cambage mentioned above, Bonner would likely rank as one of the clear favorites to anchor lineups Sunday. Griner paced the team by a large margin the last time it faced the Liberty, totaling 30 points, with Leilani Mitchell's 14 marking the second-highest output.

The Skinny

Finishing off the night is another slow-paced affair, featuring the fourth Minnesota-Seattle battle of the season. Damiris Dantas played 30 minutes for the first since her extended absence from a calf injury Friday, which could land her a spot among the potential value plays. In her two games against the Storm this season, Dantas has averaged 13 points, 4.5 boards, two assists and 1.5 steals per contest. Sylvia Fowles has supplied slightly better production in her three tilts, notching 13 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists. Seattle is also vulnerable from deep, allowing a slate-high 35.9 hit rate from beyond the arc, which could make Lexie Brown a cheap GPP play. She put up 20 points against Seattle the last time the two clubs squared off.

Seattle, on the other hand, will aim to take advantage of Minnesota's tendency to turn the ball over. The Lynx own a slate-worst mark for opponent steals (8.9 per game) and also get blocked at a relatively high rate. Jewell Loyd (2.5 per game), Alysha Clark (two per game) and Jordin Canada (two per game) have all take advantage of the steals portion, while Natasha Howard and Mercedes Russell have notched 1.3 blocks apiece. Loyd could provide additional value again Sunday if Canada remains sidelined due to a shoulder injury that has plagued her recently.
