Closer Watch
Marlins -- Steve Cishek has been terrific since taking over the role of closer from Heath Bell for Miami. Cishek picked up his first save of the season on May 25, and didn't get another until after the All-Star break when he pitched 1.2 innings with three strikeouts against Washington on July 14. Including that game Cishek has only given up one run over 11.2 innings, and has recorded 12 Ks in the process. Ozzie Guillen will surely keep Cishek in the ninth inning role until he breaks the form that has otherwise been perfect.

Recommended Pickup

Other Recent Recommendations:
Samuel Deduno, P, MIN -- Prior to the start of the 2012 season Deduno had a combined six Major League appearances for the Rockies and Padres all in a relief role. The Twins decided to take a chance on the Dominican pitcher this off-season, and he has proved to a nice addition to their rotation thus far. Sinxe being called up July 7 Deduno has started seven game and has picked up four wins, no loses, and has a 3.38 ERA. On Sunday Deduno will have a chance to improve his perfect record at Safeco Field as the Twins will wrap up their weekend series against the Mariners at a park that is a one of the best places to pitch at especially considering Felix Hernandez just threw the second perfect game their this season.

Other Recent Recommendations: Gregor Blanco, Jon Jay, Yonder Alonso, Eric Young, Jr., and Andy Dirks
