Sixers Host Nuggets on Friday
The Denver Nuggets travel to the City of Brotherly Love to play the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center on Friday.

The Nuggets (37-17) have hit a little bit of a wall, as they've put in lackluster performances in their last two games. In fact, they suffered a 26-point loss at the hands of the Detroit Pistons on Monday and followed that up with a loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. The Nuggets allowed 135 points in that defeat to Brooklyn and it's a wonder if this defense can hold up with Paul Millsap (ankle) and Gary Harris (groin) sidelined. That's probably the two best defenders on this team and the only bit of good news is that both players are expected to return soon. Having both those guys back will add some serious depth to an already deep team and they'll be in for another tough test here against an equally deep Sixers club. With the all-star break right around the corner, Denver fans are just hopeful the Nuggets can hold their water and get some much-needed rest next week.

The Sixers (34-20) also come into this matchup losing two-straight but they'll have some reinforcements for this fixture. Tobias Harris was just acquired from the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday and his 20 points and eight rebounds will be a welcomed sight to an already impressive starting lineup. It does make one wonder how that will make Jimmy Butler feel though, as he was already upset about his diminished role. This will only take away more shots and touches from Butler and he'll have to be a team-player if everyone is to remain happy. The Sixers have made Wells Fargo Center a sanctuary this season too, as they own a 21-6 record at home this season. That's a great sign headed into the final two months, as Philly fans are desperate to hold on to some homecourt advantage in the playoffs.

Denver dominated at home in their first meeting with Philly this season, winning, 126-110. With that said, the Sixers won three-straight games over the Nuggets heading into this season.
