Celtics Visit Warriors for Critical Game 5
The Boston Celtics take on the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center on Monday night in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The series is 2-2.

The Celtics (2-2) had a golden opportunity in front of them to take what could have been an insurmountable 3-1 lead in the series and do it front of the home crowd on Friday night. However, even though Boston looked on the verge of pulling away on a couple of different occasions during Game 4 and also held a four-point lead with just over five minutes left, the Warriors (2-2) were able to roar back with a 17-3 run to prevail. Jayson Tatum paced the Celtics with a 23-point, 11-rebound double-double that included six assists, three blocks and one steal. Jaylen Brown furnished 21 points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal. Marcus Smart delivered 18 points, five assists, four rebounds and four steals. Derrick White netted 16 points along with a rebound, assist and steal apiece.

The Celtics will list Robert Williams (knee) as questionable for Monday's game.

The Warriors (2-2) once again rode the elite talent of Stephen Curry to victory in Friday's game, avoiding would have been a deficit potentially too steep to overcome. In Game 4, Curry continued his stellar postseason by leading the Warriors with 43 points, adding 10 rebounds and four assists. Klay Thompson followed with 18 points, two rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal. Andrew Wiggins generated a massive 17-point, 16-rebound double-double that included two assists and one steal. Jordan Poole poured in 14 points.

The Warriors will list Otto Porter (foot) and Andre Iguodala (knee) as questionable for Monday's game.

Monday's game marks the seventh meeting between the teams since the start of the regular season. Each has won three games.
