Celtics Stun Heat In Miami
The Boston Celtics defeated the host Miami Heat, 93-80, in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals at FTX Arena on Wednesday evening.

The game got out to a low-scoring start, as the Heat led, 19-17, after one quarter. Neither side could get much going in the second, and the hosts pushed their lead to five, by halftime. The Celtics came out much stronger in the third and outscored the Heat, 32-16, to rally to an 11-point lead heading into the final frame. The Celtics maintained control the rest of the way and held on to take the 3-2 series lead.

Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 25 points, four rebounds, a steal and a block, in 39 minutes. Jayson Tatum followed up with 22 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists, while Al Horford added 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal. The Celtics shot 46 percent from the field, including 10-of-33 from long range.

Meanwhile, Bam Adebayo was the high-point man for the Heat, with 18 points, 10 rebounds and a block, in 38 minutes. Gabe Vincent followed up with 15 points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal, while Jimmy Butler chipped 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. The Heat shot 32 percent from the field, including 7-of-45 from deep.

Game 6 is scheduled for Friday in Boston.
