The Skinny

The Liberty enter as massive underdogs against a Mystics squad tied for the best record in the league. Looking for a massive upset on the road is going to take a lot of exploiting of the Mystics defensive weaknesses. Washington has tightened up on that end of the floor recently, but the opposition does knock down 43.4 percent of its shots (second-best in the league). Tina Charles leads the team averaging 2.9 second chance points per contest, which may work in her favor with the Mystics allowing 11.9 second-chance points (third-most) each game. This could wind up being a scenario where the benches are emptied earlier than usual, which could mean more playing time for players like Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe, Reshanda Gray, Brittany Boyd and Marine Johannes.

Washington sits on the other side of the equation, looking to bounce back after an eight-point loss to the sky on Friday. Natasha Cloud really stood out in the only previous game between the two clubs this season, notching 26 points, eight assists and four rebounds over 35 minutes thanks largely to three made three-pointers and five free throws. Five total players reached double figures the last time these two clubs squared off and the minutes could be spread around again Sunday if the score gets out of hand.

The Skinny

Atlanta finally got back in the win column Friday after losing 12 straight contests, putting up 90 points on the Liberty. It will be extremely difficult to repeat that output Sunday against a Wings squad that sports the slowest pace in the league. Dallas has been vulnerable to the fast break this season, allowing a league-high 10.1 points per game via that avenue. Brittney Sykes, Maite Cazorla and Renee Montgomery all rely on that facet to account for more than 10 percent of their scoring per game, with Sykes and Cazorla both topping 16 percent per contest. In raw stats, however, Sykes averages the most with just 1.7 fast-break points per game. The Wings also send their opponents to the free-throw line the second-most in the league, which bodes well for players who do a high percentage of their damage at the line like Monique Billings and Elizabeth Williams.

Atlanta's defense, much like its offense, is suspect at best. The Dream struggle to end opposing possessions, sporting a league-worst 65 percent defensive rebound rate that has led to a league-high 13.7 second-chance points allowed per game. Isabelle Harrison, Kayla Thornton and Azura Stevens may be best-equipped to take advantage of the loose balls on the boards, while extra offensive possessions could benefit both Thornton and Arike Ogunbowale, who average a team-high 1.9 second-chance points per game. The two teams rank as the two worst in terms of offensive rating, so there's a decent chance this contest will turn into a low-scoring affair.

The Skinny

Connecticut rides a four-game winning streak into Sunday's matchup, but a tough task awaits to keep that afloat against a Sparks squad that has lost just two games all season on their home court. Courtney Williams and Alyssa Thomas provided the bulk of the production Friday against the Aces, combining for 51 points in the contest. Jasmine Thomas was shooting well prior to Friday's four-point dud, notching double digits in the previous four contests. Los Angeles has been vulnerable from deep and on the fast break this season. Along with Thomas, Shekinna Stricklen and Jonquel Jones both average more than one three-point shot made per contest. Alyssa Thomas likes to get out and run as well, which may provide her a slight fantasy boost against Los Angeles. The Sparks also surrender high levels off opponent blocks and steal, which fall into Jonquel Jones' territory.

Los Angeles aims to keep its dominant stretch rolling on the home floor Sunday and the movement of the line shows that bettors are on board with that notion. The Sparks opened as 1.5-point underdogs but have since moved to 3.5-point favorites against the Sun. Ball movement is key if they want to make that happen, as the Sun allow the third-most assists (19.2) per game in the league this season. Chelsea Gray heads the distribution department and has averaged five helpers per game in the two contests between the clubs this season. The Ogwumike sisters have fared the best overall, averaging 20 (Nneka) ad 19.5 (Chiney) points in the two tilts. However, Candace Parker wasn't available for either of those games, which should shift the scoring output. Chiney has been moved to the bench recently, but she's coming off a 15-point game and could serve as a value play Sunday.

The Skinny

The biggest area of concern for both teams in this matchup comes down low. For the Mercury defense, that area of vulnerability lies with the defensive glass. Phoenix clears the boards at the second-lowest rate (66.6 percent) in the league on the defensive end of the floor. Unfortunately for Chicago, the team leader in that area, Jantel Lavender (two per game), is likely done for the campaign. Next up is Cheyenne Parker (1.8 offensive boards per contest), who put thos skills to good use in the first meeting to the tune of 10 boards in 13 minutes. She is averaging north of 20 minutes per game since Lavender went down, so a solid showing may be on tap Sunday. The Mercury also produce a league-low 5.9 steals per game, which may bode well for ball-handlers like Courtney Vandersloot.

While the Sky have also struggled keeping the opposition off the defensive glass, their biggest concern is scoring in the paint. Chicago allows a league- high 36.6 points in the paint to go along with 12.6 second-chance points (second-most). Brittney Griner fits the bill in that regard extremely well, averaging 2.9 second-chance points per game to go along with a league-leading 13.3 points in the paint per game. That combination should put her skills on show Sunday. However, it was DeWanna Bonner who went off against Chicago the last time these two teams faced off, pouring in 28 points and 12 rebounds in her best fantasy output of the season. Both stars should be considered heavily for daily lineups Sunday.

The Skinny

Coming off a tough loss against the Sun on Friday that snapped a four-game winning streak, the Aces return tot he floor Sunday to take on a Minnesota squad still eyeing up a playoff spot. Kayla McBride has notched 22 and 20 points in the two earlier games versus the Lynx this season, which should push her name into fantasy consideration. Minnesota hands opponents a league-high 8.9 steals per game, which also falls under the umbrella of McBride (team-high 1.3 per game), Kelsey Plum (one per game) and Dearica Hamby (one per game). Minnesota boasts the third-best defensive rating in the league, which likely contributes to a fairly low expected scoring output.

Facing the toughest team in the league defensively by rating, Minnesota will have to take advantage of its opportunities to build off of Thursday's win over the Wings. In order to do so, the Lynx may need to rely on making their shots from deep against an Aces club allowing a league-high 7.5 three-point makes per game. Minnesota doesn't excel in that particular area, but Lexie Brown and Damiris Dantas lead the way, each averaging 1.6 makes on 4.0 attempts per contest from beyond the arc. The Aces also get blocked a league-high 5.7 times per game, which could benefit Sylvia Fowls (1.3 blocks per game) and Napheesa Collier (0.8 blocks per game). The pair combined for seven blocks in the two previous meetings this season.

The Skinny

Sporting the worst defensive rating in the league, Indiana has had a hard time keeping games close of late. Following a five-point win over the Dream, the Fever have lost two of the last three by 40 and 33 points, with a six-point loss to the Liberty sandwiched int he middle. As a result, they sit as nine-point underdogs against the Storm on Sunday. Seattle yields a league-low 74.6 points per game to the opposition, so there isn't a ton of fantasy value to be had for the Fever players from a fantasy perspective. The Storm have surrendered a league-worst 36.2 opposing three-point percentage this season, which provides some hope for fantasy utility from the likes of Kelsey Mitchell (2.1 three-pointers per game) and Erica Wheeler (1.4 three-pointers per game). That's indeed how it played out in two previous clashes, with Mitchell averaging a team-best 17 points per game and Wheeler supplying another 12. Recent deterioration of Mitchell's minutes could also bode well for her as a value play if she manages to snag more Sunday given her history against the opposition.

For the Storm, it's Natasha Howard an Jewell Loyd who have dominated in the previous tilts featuring the two squads. Howard has collected 21.5 points and 7.5 boards on average and Loyd has notched 19.5 points, 40 boards and 3.5 steals per game. Loyd's efforts are of particular note, as she has posted two of her best fantasy outputs of the season in previous matchups. She has seen her minutes jump back to around the 30 mark over the last two tames and could have another huge showing in store Sunday. Jordin Canada didn't have a particularly strong game in her only appearance against the Fever, but her skill set could also play out well in Sunday's meeting.
