Celtics Host Slipping Pistons
The Boston Celtics play host to the Detroit Pistons at TD Garden on Wednesday evening.

The Celtics (27-11) have won six of their last 10 games, including their last two in a row. This marks their third and final game of a home stand, as they look to build on their 16-3 home record. The Celtics average 111.4 points per game and are holding their opponents to an average of 104.3 points per game, which is the second fewest in the league. They average 8.2 steals and 13.2 turnovers per game. Kemba Walker leads the Celtics with 21.7 points and 5.1 assists per game. Jayson Tatum is averaging 21.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals, while Jaylen Brown is averaging 19.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Enes Kanter has been playing well lately, averaging 12.0 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks, in 21 minutes per game, over the last 10 games.

Meanwhile, the Pistons (14-27) have dropped seven of their last 10 games, including their last three in a row. This marks their first game of a three-game road trip, as they come in with a 6-14 road record. The Pistons are shooting 37.1 percent from long range, which is third best in the league, but they are giving up an average of 15.1 turnovers, which is fifth most in the league. Andre Drummond continues to dominate the paint, averaging a league-best 15.7 rebounds, along with 17.4 points, 1.9 steals and 1.8 blocks per game. Derrick Rose averages team highs with 18.0 points and 5.8 assists per game. Sekou Doumbouya has been playing well, averaging 11.0 points and 5.0 rebounds, in 27 minutes per game, over his last eight games. Christian Wood (knee) put up 18 points, nine rebounds and three blocks, in the Pistons' last contest, but he is questionable for action on Wednesday.
