We're only a week into training camp and already it's obvious I'm right about everything this year. Except for maybe Stefon Diggs, who I've called "the worst pick on the board at ADP" because he's 31 years old and coming back from a mid-season ACL tear. Diggs may have gotten attention for partying this offseason, but he also progressed through a best-case-scenario rehab, now catching passes from Drake Maye in full-team drills nine months after the ACL injury.
Brandon Aiyuk, who tore his ACL around the same time — but also suffered MCL damage, unlike Diggs — remains on the PUP list for San Francisco, amid speculation he'll miss the start of the season. There are numerous injury updates around the league from the first week of camp, along with a few unsettled contract situations, a couple of last-minute retirements and a smattering of reports on who is getting first-team reps.
Below, we'll look at fantasy football training camp news for each of the NFL's 32 teams, spanning everything from injury rehabs to job battles to good ol' fashioned camp hype.

Atlanta Falcons
After missing offseason practices with a foot injury, TE Kyle Pits caught a number of passes from Michael Penix on the first day of training camp, prompting Penix to tell reporters that there's "gonna be a lot of that" this season. This is where we do the obligatory 'Pitts is still only __ years old (24 now) and has a new coach/QB' thing. Fantasy players are right to be sick of Pitts breakout narratives, but it's nonetheless interesting to know when the starting QB tells reporters he wants to throw to a specific teammate more often. FWIW, Pitts got just 11 of the 102 targets in Penix's three starts last season, with Drake London taking 39 and nobody else more than 12 (Darnell Mooney got 11 in two games).
UPDATE: WR Darnell Mooney suffered a shoulder injury and now is expected to miss most of training camp. KhaDarel Hodge is filling in with the first-team offense.
Arizona Cardinals
Marvin Harrison reported to training camp at 220 pounds, up from 209 during his rookie season. Will the weight help him with YAC and contested catches, or will it slow down his route-running?
Baltimore Ravens
Sixth-round pick Tyler Loop and UDFA John Hoyland are competing to replace Justin Tucker as Baltimore's kicker — a gig that can provide fantasy value based on volume alone when the Ravens are piling up points. Tucker was 11th among kickers in fantasy points last year, despite attempting just 30 field goals and missing eight of them. He was buoyed by 60 PAT conversions, second most in the league. In 2023, Tucker finished third in PATs (51) and t-4th in fantasy points.
Update: TE Isaiah Likely is expected to miss multiple weeks with an ankle injury.
Buffalo Bills
James Cook reported on time and is practicing, but he still expects an extension this summer, which might (or might not) lead to problems as the season approaches.
Also, WRs Joshua Palmer and Keon Coleman both are getting a lot of first-team reps and plenty of praise from beat writers.
There's been a lot of talk about Keon Coleman (and he's definitely put together some good days), but I've also liked what I've seen from Joshua Palmer at #Bills training camp. Smooth. Solid. #BillsMafia pic.twitter.com/Pr7jCpFYSQ

Carolina Panthers
First-round pick Tetairoa McMillan is healthy and getting first-team reps, after missing a couple minicamp practices with a lower body injury.
Chicago Bears
WR Luther Burden (hamstring) returned to practice Monday, and TE Colston Loveland (shoulder) made his debut in 7-on-7s over the weekend. With the rookies ready to rock, Chicago's offense looks healthy as the preseason approaches.
Bears reporters didn't seem to have much access the first few days of training camp, but there have been positive nuggets on RB Kyle Monangai, the rookie seventh-round pick who was praised by Ben Johnson after spring practices. Johnson had more to say Tuesday, noting that the rookie's toughness and physicality have stood out:
"You have to be wired a little differently to come up and smack a linebacker in the teeth day one with pads. And I think he's got that mentality."

Cincinnati Bengals
DE Shemar Stewart finally signed his rookie deal Friday, long after all the other first-round picks, reaching a compromise after a dispute over contract language. DE Trey Hendrickson, on the other hand, remains away from the team and racking up $50,000 in fines each day in his push for a contract extension or trade. The Bengals allowed 25.5 points per game last season, even though Hendrickson led the league with 17.5 sacks.
Cleveland Browns
QBs Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett were splitting first-team snaps until the latter suffered a hamstring injury Saturday. Third-round pick Dillon Gabriel reportedly has been sprinkled in with the starters, while fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders has only worked with backups so far.
RB Quinshon Judkins remains unsigned after a domestic violence arrest, and fellow running back Jerome Ford is being eased into practice after missing the first week with an unspecified injury.

Dallas Cowboys
Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams are still getting most of the first-team reps, but rookie Jayden Blue reportedly is having a strong first week of training camp. Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer may have even clapped back at the summer rumor about Blue's work ethic, saying Sunday that he's been especially impressed by the rookie's professionalism.
"The speed. The dynamic playmaking ability. He's a dual-threat guy. He doesn't need a lot of space to make guys miss. He's uncanny. ... But what I like is the professionalism he's shown at this camp."

Denver Broncos
With WR Courtland Sutton signing an extension last week, the Broncos have all hands on deck early in training camp. Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports that RBs J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey both have routinely taken first-team snaps, with Jaleel McLaughlin sprinkling in some.
Detroit Lions
The Jameson Williams hype continues, after new offensive coordinator John Morton kicked it off this spring by predicting a breakout season for the 24-year-old (who just had a breakout season, but hey, it's possible he could reach another level in 2025). A lot of people seem to expect more deep passes under Morton, with targets thus continuing to shift away from Amon-Ra St. Brown and toward Williams. We already saw ARSB drop two spots in ADP between May and July, while Williams rose by five spots.
Green Bay Packers
Rookie WR Matthew Golden has already been working with the first-team offense and could get even more reps after Dontayvion Wicks missed Tuesday's practice with a calf injury. RB MarShawn Lloyd (groin) was also unavailable Tuesday.

Houston Texans
RB Joe Mixon failed to recover from his offseason foot injury the way the Texans had hoped. He remains on the non-football injury list, with recent reports suggesting he's in danger of missing the start of the season. Dameon Pierce (undisclosed) has also been absent, leaving free-agent signing Nick Chubb with minimal competition for first-team reps. Dare Ogunbowale and rookie fourth-round pick Woody Marks will also compete for roles, but both are far more likely to handle passing-down snaps than take a large number of carries.
#Texans RB Joe Mixon, who is on the non-football injury list, is expected to be out an extended period of time with a frustrating foot injury, sources say.

Indianapolis Colts
QB Anthony Richardson was cleared for training camp after some trouble with his surgically repaired throwing shoulder during the offseason. After struggling through the first couple practices, Richardson reportedly improved Friday and then maintained his momentum through the weekend and into this week. He took most of the first-team snaps Monday and Tuesday in the first two padded practices, with FOX 59's Mike Chappell reporting that an offseason emphasis on footwork has Richardson feeling more confident in his accuracy. I'm not sure I buy it, but I do think trying to develop him further makes more sense than trying to squeak out eight or nine wins with a known-supbar entity like Daniel Jones.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Long-time Jags beat reporter John Shipley noted Friday that RB Tank Bigsby "seemingly got the bulk of the key reps" and had the coaching staff "singing his praises." It was a different story Tuesday, when Travis Etienne was "seemingly the focus for the backfield" and "popping off a few impressive runs," although Shipley notes that Bigsby also "made it to the second level on a few occasions" Tuesday morning.
Travis Hunter, meanwhile, has spent a bit more time on offense than defense during the media-access portions of practice. He may start playing both sides on the same day after the Jaguars rest Wednesday.
Total Travis Hunter snaps through six Jaguars camp practices: 119 snaps (72 on offense, 47 on defense)
7-on-7: 18 snaps (11 offense, 7 defense)
11-on-11: 101 snaps (61 offense, 40 defense)
No practice on Wednesday

Kansas City Chiefs
WRs Xavier Worthy (head) and Hollywood Brown (ankle) both left practice early Tuesday, depriving KC's offense of about 345 pounds worth of wide receivers. Rookie fourth-round pick Jalen Royals had already been getting some first-team reps, notably filling in when Rashee Rice — who likely will be suspended soon — was taken off the field. And now it sounds like Brown/Worthy could miss a bunch of practices.

Las Vegas Raiders
Fourth-round pick Dont'E Thornton earned first-team reps at the offseason program and continues to do so in training camp, while second-round pick Jack Bech has been working with the backups. Bech reportedly looked good Monday, but his skillset has a lot of overlap with what Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers do. Thornton offers something different, namely 4.3 speed, and the early reports out of training camp suggest he's more refined than one might expect of a prospect who caught 65 passes in his entire college career. On the other hand, Bech may be the sort of player who looks better with pads and contact, while Thornton's thin build (6-5, 205) suggests he could be the opposite.
#Raiders WR Dont'e Thornton said fellow rookie receiver Jack Bech is a "dog, he'll run through anybody's face"

Los Angeles Chargers
Najee Harris still hasn't practiced since his summer fireworks accident. Reports in mid-July suggested he wouldn't be out long, but coach Jim Harbaugh said Tuesday that he still doesn't have a timeline for the veteran RB's return. Rookie first-round pick Omarion Hampton has been getting most of the first-team reps.
Los Angeles Rams
QB Matthew Stafford (back) has been downgraded to week-to-week, after initial optimism from the Rams that he'd only miss the first handful of camp practices. He's 37 years old and has a history of back injuries (among other things), but the Rams don't seem worried about Week 1 availability, at least for now. Meanwhile, WRs Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell are competing for the No. 3 receiver role.
Miami Dolphins
TE Darren Waller still isn't practicing, but coach Mike McDaniel hinted that it's just a matter of conditioning, not related to an injury. The Dolphins otherwise have all their top pass catchers and ballcarriers healthy early in training camp.
Minnesota Vikings
Coach Kevin O'Connell said Tuesday that he has "zero worry" about Justin Jefferson's hamstring injury and expects the star wideout to resume practicing at some point in camp. O'Connell had less to say when asked about the backfield split between Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason.
Jordan Mason took the first snap Monday of the Vikings' first full-pads team drill. I don't think there's much to read into, other than confirming earlier indications that he'll be in a relatively equal load share with Aaron Jones. STORY:https://t.co/ihLbbsWwY6

New England Patriots
WR Stefon Diggs was cleared for the start of training camp, less than nine months after tearing an ACL. He practiced Monday and Tuesday in full pads, with beat writers suggesting that he and DeMario Douglas have been frequent targets for QB Drake Maye. It also sounds like Kayshon Boutte is getting a lot of first-team reps and making some plays, while Kyle Williams and Kendrick Bourne mostly are running with the backups. Mack Hollins remains on the PUP list with an undisclosed injury.
New Orleans Saints
QBs Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler are splitting first-team reps, alternating days with the starters so far. Rattler got the first day, for what it's worth (probably nothing).
Also, S Tyrann Mathieu announced his retirement at the start of training camp. Julian Blackmon then signed with new Orleans a day later, joining a safety room with Justin Reid, Jordan Howden and third-round pick Jonas Sanker.
New York Giants
RB Cam Skattebo took first-team reps for the first time Monday. The report notes that pass catching has been the most impressive aspect of the rookie's game so far, although it's hard to judge running plays without full pads/contact. Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary reportedly have been dominating first-team reps.
Also, WR Malik Nabers is banged up again, now nursing a shoulder injury, after the toe injury that's bothered him on-and-off since college kept him out of spring practices. He was cleared for the start of camp but then left practice Tuesday after a hard fall.
Malik Nabers update: Giants believe star WR avoided serious injury after leaving practice, per source: https://t.co/ddSAJYfz7B

New York Jets
QB Justin Fields dislocated a toe last Thursday but was already back to limited practice participation by Monday. The early days of Jets camp have otherwise been drama-free, although RB Braelon Allen missed Tuesday's practice with knee soreness after reportedly getting off to a strong start over the first week of camp.
Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles LT Jordan Mailata and pass rusher Nolan Smith hyped up pass rusher Jalyx Hunt as the team's next superstar. Drafted 94th overall last year, Hunt barely played on defense until November but was getting around 40 percent snap share down the stretch, including during the playoffs when he had 10 tackles, three QB hits and 1.5 sacks in four games (103 snaps).
Pittsburgh Steelers
Things seem shockingly calm here. T.J. Watt got his contract right before camp, and reports on QB Aaron Rodgers have been overwhelmingly positive. The most interesting thing so far was Cordarrelle Patterson being released (even though kickoff touchbacks will now go to the 35-yard line).
Breaking news❗️❗️❗️Pittsburgh Steelers release old washed up cordarrelle patterson on his day off!!!

San Francisco 49ers
WR availability has been all over the place, with the only consistent things being Brandon Aiyuk (knee) staying unavailable on PUP and Demarcus Robinson getting a lot of first-team work. Ricky Pearsall is now practicing after missing the first few days with a hamstring injury, but Jauan Jennings (calf) and Jacob Cowing (hamstring) are no longer available. The mess has reporters discussing rookie fourth-round pick Jordan Watkins as a candidate for the third or fourth WR spot, although the 49ers might later end up with a logjam at the position mid-season (if they ever get all the veterans healthy at the same time).
Seattle Seahawks
AJ Barner's combination of capable blocking and decent hands makes him the favorite to start at tight end after Noah Fant was released, but rookie second-round pick Elijah Arroyo is already making a good impression with his pass catching. It might not be long before Arroyo gets a lot of the single-TE snaps in passing situations, in addition to whatever role he has in multi-TE formations (which the team will use more often under new OC Klint Kubiak). The Seahawks also have veteran blocking specialist Eric Saubert, a third viable option for multi-TE looks.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Emeka Egbuka hype from the offseason program has continued into training camp, while veteran wideout Chris Godwin (ankle) remains on the PUP list. The comments about Egbuka from teammates have been even more glowing than the praise Jalen McMillan (remember him?) got last summer.
McMillan ultimately played a huge role in the team's playoff qualification with his seven TDs over the final five weeks of the regular season, but he may nonetheless end up dropping to the fourth spot on the depth chart now (although that might still entail a lot of playing time if Godwin and Evans struggle with injuries again).
WR Mike Evans says rookie WR Emeka Egbuka is already a seasoned professional who is going to have a great career.
— Scott Smith (@ScottSBucs) July 29, 2025
Tennessee Titans
WR Treylon Burks was waived after breaking his collarbone, ending his three-plus years in Tennessee on a sour note after reportedly doing well with his rehab from an ACL tear last year. The Titans are left with Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike and Tyler Lockett jockeying for roles behind Calvin Ridley, with Ayomanor emerging as the fantasy "sleeper" of choice so far (and rightfully so). Early reviews on fellow rookie Cam Ward have been mixed.
Washington Commanders
Rookie seventh-round pick Jacory Croskey-Merritt is the big story from Washington camp, named by numerous beat writers as one of the early standouts. It's still very early, of course, but he seems to be making a move ahead of Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez for the No. 3 RB role. While the rookie is unlikely to move higher than that before Week 1, it's fair to say Brian Robinson is one of the more vulnerable (and less talented) lead backs around the league.
Total Travis Hunter snaps through six Jaguars camp practices: 119 snaps (72 on offense, 47 on defense)
7-on-7: 18 snaps (11 offense, 7 defense)
11-on-11: 101 snaps (61 offense, 40 defense)
No practice on Wednesday
