This article is part of our Weekly Pitcher Rankings series.
And so it begins. Starting on Monday, umpires will be checking pitchers for foreign substances. Catchers and infielders can also be checked. No adjustments were made for this set of rankings. Perhaps that's a mistake, but I feel presupposing outcomes is a bigger blunder. Fasten your seatbelt friends, it's going to be a rocky ride.
If you have questions pertaining to the schedule, please direct those to the Projected Starters grid as I pull the matchups from there.
